I am based in Holt, Wiltshire, just east of Bath.

All sessions are on location, this includes your home, garden or any other accessable indoor/outdoor area.

It's worth considering the style of photos you like: woodland/ urban/ grand/ rural/ park. Or as much of a mix as you'd like.

As long as there are no restrictions on photography, I am happy to shoot anywhere.

This will all be discussed in the pre shoot consultation.

The sessions usually last anywhere from 1 to 2 hours. I am happy to extend the shoot should I need more time to capture enough images.

It is worth thinking about what time of day is best for your child. Think about snack time/ nap time and everything in between. We can of course, take regular breaks to ensure your child is happy and engaged throughout the session.

Be prepared for all weather conditions (you've got to love the British weather!). Plenty of snacks and drinks are advised.

Anything that you feel works as bribery for your child also goes a long way!

Props are great, as long as they have meaning to your child, anything that will ensure they feel comfortable is beneficial.

As every session is unique, and every child is different, we will discuss props and clothing in more detail in the pre shoot consultation.

Plain, simple clothing works well. Think about the season, for example, reds, greens, oranges in Autumn look beautiful.

Think about the location… what colours will work? Earthy tones are stunning, clothes with textures and floaty fabrics are beautiful and very aesthetic!

Avoid a mixture of black and white as this can often create a distracting contrast.

Accessories work well- hats and scarves in the winter for example, and wellies all year round!

Please bring clothing options, and spares.

The British weather can be very unpredictable. I am happy to shoot whatever the weather and every weather type has pros and cons.

Rainy, overcast days can often form a dramatic and interesting back drop and you should not be put off by this.

I am also happy to adjust the shoot to incorporate more interior shots should you child be happier with this setting.

My main priority is that your child is happy so that I can ensure I get the very best out of them.

If they are ill, it is better to postpone the session.

In this instance, please let me know as soon as possible so that we can make the necessary arrangements to reschedule.

All the proof images are edited to a high standard using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. If there is anything that you would like retouched or done specifically, please let me know at the time of the shoot.

Pets are very welcome and they can often bring something really special to a session.

Providing the location does not have any restrictions, anything goes!

All sessions are charged at the basic rate of £249, which includes 10 digital images (please see prices page for additional options).

50% is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance is due 3 days before the shoot. Upgrades are requested and paid for after viewing online gallery of images.

As you are purchasing the digital files then yes, of course you are able to use the images for personal use in whichever way you choose. However, the photos cannot be used for commercial purposes

At the time of the session, you will be advised on when your images will be ready to view. Once your images have been edited, you will receive an email, with a link and password to your online gallery.

Once the order is complete, you will be sent a USB stick with your chosen photos.
