About Me
Hi there!
I’m Emily and I’m a Children and Pet Portrait Photographer based in Wiltshire and surrounding areas. Thank you for visiting my website.
Having graduated with a BA Honours in Photography 20 years ago, I went on to work for a well known Family Portrait Studio, based in Knightsbridge, where I began my training as a Family Portrait Photographer. After years of photographing children, families and an array of pets, I progressed into management of the studio. I then relocated to Bristol, where I managed a busy studio in Clifton, a company I stayed with for 11 years.
Since having my three children, I have rediscovered my love of photography and have honed in on my style. I love to take beautiful, evocative portraits of children and pets that capture their personalities and highlights their character.
With my photographs once described as ‘enchanted’ and ‘magical’, I like to stay true to my fine art approach, however, I also appreciate the importance of creating lasting memories and capturing the moment. I want to see what you see in your children and pets, and fully understand how important this is when photographing your little ones and furry friends. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through photography, I bring a unique and personal touch to every session.
My approach is fun and relaxed. I absolutely love working with children and all animals, and have a natural ability to work well with any age. I have many tricks up my sleeve to ensure your child and/ or pet feels comfortable, whether you’re in the midst of the terrible twos, or you’re approaching the complexities of adolescence, I’ve seen it all. I love the uncertainty that working with animals brings- it all adds to the fun. I have many years of experience photography a complete variety of pets- nothing surprises me!
